Bayou Buddies is an educational and fun class for young learners. Each week we will explore a different native Texas animal. Starting with “A”, we’ll work our way through the alphabet learning about a different animal each week. Every class will include a natural history lesson, story, craft, snack, and outdoor activity. All children ages 3-5 are welcome. Classes are held on Tuesday afternoons from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Classes start in September 2019 and run until May 2020. Sessions are 1.5 hours long and are held at the Houston Audubon's Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary - 440 Wilchester Blvd. Houston TX 77079.
This is a popular class, please enroll soon to secure your spot. In order to provide the best experience for each child, we limit the class enrollment to 12 students.
Registration: $185 for Houston Audubon members; $205 for non-members.
2nd child registration: $150 for members and non-members.
Registration covers all 27 classes and the BIRD Bonanza Celebration.
