La Sal Vieja (TXLS) - compiler needed
The La Sal Vieja CBC is located out at the Valley Salt Lakes area in northeastern Hidalgo County and southwestern Willacy County. The area is a wonderful place to bird! The count normally averages about 165 species. The count circle has large areas of USFWS tracts which are hard to access by the public.

Note: Due to the current health concerns, only the members of the Monte Mucho Audubon Society will be invited to participate in the Laredo Christmas Count 2020. We feel that this is the safest way to participate since each member will bird the areas they are familiar with within the circle and submit their tallies to me for compilation. We hope to open up the count next year to public participation.
Our count circle includes private ranches and public lands, much of which is on the Rio Grande. Compiler: Glenda Barrera, firstname.lastname@example.org, 956-286-5876.
