Description: This annual is frequently seen along roadsides, often in large masses. It is easy to grow and thrives in hot, dry conditions. Some Indian blankets are entirely yellow.

The Wildlife Connection: Many species of butterflies are attracted to Indian blankets.

Propagation Tips: Indian Blankets will reseed prolifically if their seeds are allowed to mature. Don't collect seeds until there are no petals left on the flower heads.
