A Brush with Nature at the Houston Botanic Garden
Join Houston Audubon in this creative class where you’ll learn the science behind feathers and leaves and the watercolor techniques to capture them on paper. Participants will take a stroll through the Garden for inspiration and create a work of art to take home with them. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience with art, this class will guide you step-by-step as you bring nature to life on paper. This class will be led by Houston Audubon’s Education Specialist, Channing Mena. All materials will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their preferred art supplies if desired.
