About the Boy Scout Woods Photo Blind
Houston Audubon maintains a photo blind at Boy Scout Woods. Each of the 6 seats features a large rectangular opening that allows camera lens movement to make different shots possible. Please note that we do not allow visitors to set up their own blinds in our sanctuaries.
Spring 2026 Season
The photo blind at Boy Scout Woods will be available for reservations every day from March 28 - May 2, 2026. The registration link is emailed to all Houston Audubon members on January 5, 2026. Only Houston Audubon members can reserve seats during the period January 5-11, 2026. Reservations for the general public start on January 12, 2026.

Use of the Boy Scouts Woods photo blind is free and no reservations are necessary.
