About Christmas Bird Counts

Details and dates for each count are organized in groups by their location.
All CBCs are FREE to all participants. The annual CBC report is an online publication and National Audubon relies on donations for funding. Introduce your children and grandchildren to CBCs. Many of the counts are kid-friendly. Check with the compiler for suitability and any special guidelines.

On the National Audubon website. National Audubon administers the counts. Their CBC section includes information on how to get involved, a map, how to start a new CBC, compilers' resources, history, annual summaries, and more .
