The Chaparral Wildlife Management Area is located 8 miles West of Artesia Wells on F.M. 133. The CWMA consists of 15,200 acres of South Texas brush country. When finished for the day, one may leave one's packet at the front desk with the Customer Service Representative, or one may wait until the 6pm Countdown Dinner (free, and provided by Estero and the Friends of Estero) where we will review the day with great excitement!
