Come join us on the third Tuesday of the month at 7 AM! You will find us at the University of Houston’s Clear Lake campus in the NOA I building (look for the garden), which is on the north side of campus near Entrance 3 (Middlebrook Drive). Park in Lot D4 (see map below). We will walk through the campus, then along Horseshoe Bayou and finish with a walk through the nature trail. Bird sightings include a variety of songbirds, wading birds, and raptors. The survey takes approximately 2 hours. Wear comfortable walking shoes (boots if we have had rain recently) and a hat and be sure to bring bug spray, sunscreen, and plenty of water.
