Habitat Hawks work day

Saturday, June 5, 2021

Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary

Invasive plants are an ongoing concern at Edith L Moore. Our birds and critters rely on native plants for food and habitat, and to keep them healthy we must continually remove the weeds that encroach on their territory! These spring rains have been a boon to the invasives so we are planning a morning of intense weed pulling to get a handle on them.

This is a great way to get started volunteering with us and learn more about our work. Sign up below, or email with any questions.

Virtual Volunteer Happy Hour

Friday, June 25, 2021
4:00 pm5:00 pm

Hang out with Houston Audubon staff and volunteers at a digital happy hour! Meet like-minded folks and learn more about Houston Audubon's volunteer projects while enjoying a beverage of choice from the comfort of your home. This is a great way to stay in touch if you are staying safe at home, or if you would like to learn about and get to know volunteers who work on different projects.

A meeting link will be sent out to all registrants a day before the event, so be sure to register in advance and mark your calendars.

If this event is well received we will continue these happy hours once a month throughout 2021.
