Join Houston Audubon and SPLASh for a special morning of cleaning up the shorelines of Bolivar Peninsula! Your efforts will provide clean habitat for our beach-nesting birds! Gloves, trash grabbers, and trash bags will be provided. Please bring your reusable water containers, and we’ll have water on-hand for refills.

This road is located along important marsh habitat where wading and coastal birds often roost and feed. Trash washes up with the tides and poses a hazard to these animals and other wildlife. We need your help tidying up this area for our bird friends!

Parking is available along the side of the road, and though it is a quiet road, we will have orange reflective vests to give to volunteers to ensure volunteers are visible and safe while working alongside the road.
