Black Birders Week: Cultural Connections
Houston Audubon invites you to our Raptor and Education Center to celebrate Black Birders Week with us! Explore the gardens, visit the raptor aviaries, and gather in the historic barn for a panel viewing party. The Cornell Lab of Ornithology panel discusses the culture of birding as a whole, how birders bring their own culture into the birding experience, and what they would like to see shift to make it more accepting of the various cultural connections people have with birds.
