Birds of Moody Gardens
Join Greg Whittaker as he tours the birdiest areas of the 240-acre property. Greg conducted surveys of Moody Gardens through 2018 and identified 210 species that were utilizing the habitat on and around the Island birding hotspot. Greg will provide an introductory look at the property map and point out several of the habitat features that make the area an easy, fun, accessible birding destination. He will then tour you through several of the areas, pointing out birds encountered and answer participant questions as we walk.
