World Migratory Bird Day Celebration
On May 11 in honor of World Migratory Bird Day, the education team will give a special program and birding tours of the Houston Botanic Garden. We'll present Birds - Messengers on the WIng at 10 AM in the headquarters building of the Houston Botanic Garden. This program features live hawks and owls and will introduce audiences to the amazing world of birds and pollination. Did you know that birds play a critical role in the lifecycle of plants? Afterward, we'll lead guided bird walks and family activities to learn more about the birds of our region, bird conservation, pollination and more! The cost is $8 per person.
