As our 50th anniversary winds down, we want to highlight the faces of Houston Audubon that are so vital to our organization. Meet the Coastal Conservation Team that works from the High Island Field Station. They are responsible for restoring wildlife habitat, maintaining 2,500 acres of coastal land, maintaining all of our trails and coastal infrastructure, and performing all the bird and habitat monitoring that informs our management decisions.
