Kleb Woods Bird-Friendly Planting
Join us at Kleb Woods in honor of Houston Bird Week for a bird-friendly planting event to help improve the park’s habitat for our feathered friends. We’ll plant a variety of native species that have different benefits for birds. Precinct 4 Naturalists will be on hand to help with the planting and answer questions you may have. Don't forget to bring a refillable water bottle, dress for the weather, and wear closed-toed shoes. We will provide gloves and tools. All ages are welcome.
ADA Accessibility: There are two accessible parking spaces included in this lot. The parking lot leads to a paved path that goes to the nature center. Bird-Friendly Planting Area itself is natural, rough terrain, and not accessible by wheelchair. The area is about 5,000 square feet. There is a bench present at the Planting Area about 50 ft from the trail with a back but no armrests.
