High Island Smith Oaks Canopy Walk Volunteers
The McGovern Canopy Walkway in Smith Oaks is bringing lots of new visitors to the sanctuary! Many of these visitors don’t know much about birds and the Texas Coast and they have lots of questions. If you enjoy helping people spot birds, answering questions, and are looking for a great way to bird while volunteering, we would love to have you out. No experience is necessary as our techs and in-charge volunteers will assist you, however, if you do have experience to share it will be greatly appreciated!
Shifts*:
- Daily from March 11th to May 21
- 9 am to 4:30 pm. (partial shifts can be discussed)
