Come and celebrate International Migratory Bird Day 2008 with the Houston Audubon Society.
This year's theme:
Tropics to Tundra
Connecting Birds, Habitats, and People
Activities for all ages, live animals, special guests, food, and fun! Tickets are $5.00 at the door. Children 3 years old and under are free.
April 26 is John James Audubon's birthday. Let's celebrate!

- Mr. Clint "the snake man" will be there with lots of snakes for everyone to hold and learn about.
- Live owls from the nature center will be there to help educate about owls in Houston.
- The Junior Master Gardeners (4th and 5th graders) from Park Place Elementary will be giving tours of their garden and letting folks sample herbs and veggies that they have grown.
- Prairie Chat in our prairie pocket to learn about gardening with native prairie grasses and wildflowers and to learn about the importance of prairie habitats.
- Migratory bird games, Feed the Critter game with the Texas Master Naturalists, Painting bird houses, face painting, Flying WILD, Artist Boat, Houston Police Environmental, Wayne Nicholas Photography, and Houston Wilderness.
- Hot dogs galore and birthday cake for John James Audubon
- Trail walks to the bayou and much, much, more!
