Cody, the American Kestrel

by Mary Anne Weber, Education Director

CodyCody is a little bird with lots of personality. He was found with a shattered wing more than eight years ago under power lines in Cody, Wyoming. A local wildlife veterinarian couldn’t repair the wing, so part of it was amputated. While Cody can no longer fly, he loves to wave his left wing at an audience and show off his beautiful feathers.

Cody assists with more than 200 programs each year across the Houston area, and school children love to meet this pretty little falcon. He needs your generous support through our Adopt-A-Bird Program. Donations go toward food, upkeep of aviaries and vet check-ups. Thanks for your help.

In exchange for your generous help, you will receive a 5"x7" beautiful photo of your adopted bird and a special adoption certificate. (Please allow two weeks for processing.) Thanks for your help.
