Donate your used car, truck, boat or RV to the Houston Audubon Society!
We'll arrange to have it picked up free of charge. We accept most vehicles, even if they don't run. Some restrictions may apply on older vehicles, though. It's easy and convenient, and you'll be eligible for a tax deduction as well!
Why donate my vehicle?
It's much easier to donate your used vehicle than it is to sell it yourself. And the tax savings might even be more than what you would receive from a trade in. You'll be spared the ordeal of selling your vehicle.

1. What can I donate?
We accept most vehicles and vessels including but not limited to cars, trucks, trailers, boats and RV's.
2. Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes. We have verified that all charities listed within this site are classified with the IRS as non-profit charitable organizations. Donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. Individual tax situations vary so please check with a tax professional to determine what if any tax benefit you may receive.
3. What do I need to donate my vehicle?
We would like the title to the vehicle, but if you do not have it please call us anyway. It is possible that other arrangements may be made.
4. My car hasn't run in years. Can I still donate it?
Yes, we are able to accept most vehicles running or not (exceptions include older vehicles whose value would not offset the cost of towing).
5. Can you pick up vehicles in all 50 states?
Yes, we are able to pick up accepted vehicles in the continental U.S. and Hawaii.
6. How will the car be picked up?
We will arrange to have your vehicle towed away by a professionally licensed, bonded and insured towing company.
7. How long will it take to pick up my car?
You will be contacted within three or four business days at the most. If you need your car picked up sooner, please let us know as we may be able to make those arrangements as well.
