Sims Gardens

Our volunteers gather the first weekend of the month for a work day – mainly weeding, pruning, mulching and planting. If you are patient and enjoy children, you are welcome to help us on Fridays (12:30- 3:00 PM) when our Junior Master Gardener club meets. If you prefer to work solo as you enjoy the birds chirping in the nearby trees, you are welcome to call us anytime and we’ll probably find something for you to do in the gardens/playground. Please contact Katerina Graham, telephone 713-640-2407.

Seamstress Needed!

Do you own a sewing machine? Are you a good seamstress? The education department needs your help! We are working on new library programs - and we need your talent to create animal/plant models/props made out of fabric. Please call 713-640-2407 if you’re able to help us. Thanks!
