Class at Edith L. Moore Nature SanctuaryDo you enjoy sharing your love of nature with children? Then, please join us! The fall training date will be announced soon.

The Audubon Docent Guild is a group of volunteers who lead nature education programs at the Houston Audubon Society's Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary. We conduct guided tours of the Sanctuary, weekly nature story hours for preschoolers, children's nature-theme birthday parties, night-time owl prowls, summer nature day camps, and outreach programs in school classrooms and public libraries. We also have opportunities on our Tuesday Trail Crew here at the Sanctuary.

In addition to our annual Spring and Fall Trainings for new docents, we also offer independent training for individuals who would like to join our volunteer guild. If you are interested in joining the docent guild, please contact Bethany Foshee at 713-464-4900 or email at docent@houstonaudubon.org.
