Several of our education animals celebrated the 4th of July with the Joni and Friends campers at Camp Allen in Navasota, TX. Joni and Friends is a ministry that serves families affected by disablity. The campers enjoyed meeting Marcia the box turtle, Peanut Butter the sugar glider, Tskili the Great Horned Owl, and Jack the homing pigeon. The education department has done numerous programs for the Joni and Friends campers over the years and we always enjoy seeing the familiar faces of repeat campers and making new friends.
