Houston Audubon Online Nature Shop

A Collection of Old Favorites and New Discoveries from the Sims Nature Store


Sims Nature Store The Sims Nature Store is located in the Sims Bayou Urban Nature Center, the education headquarters for Houston Audubon. The center is open to the public by appointment only. The address is 3997 River Drive, Houston, TX 77017. It is two blocks from I-45 and only minutes from downtown. The SBUNC phone number is 713-640-2407. Shopping at our nature store allows you to acquire unique gifts that are sure to delight nature lovers while showing your support for Houston Audubon. We offer a wide selection of books, field guides, and earrings as well as an array of children’s items that include sticker books, plush animals, and umbrellas. Schedule a visit to the Sims Bayou Urban Nature Center to peruse our diverse selection or shop our online store, stocked with select featured items. We personally pack the online orders and pride ourselves on getting them shipped out as quickly as possible.

Raise Funds by Shopping at Randall's

One of the easiest ways to support Houston Audubon is to take advantage Randall's fund-raising program.

The Houston Audubon number for Randall's Remarkable Card is 509. Please take your card to the customer service desk and have store personnel apply our number. Then each time you buy something at Randall's. Houston Audubon will receive one to three percent of your purchase. Randall's Remarkable Card

KrogerPlus Card

Raise funds for Houston Audubon through the Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program. By taking this letter to your neighborhood Kroger store the next time you go shopping and presenting it to the cashier, Houston Audubon will be designated for donations every time you use your KrogerPlus Card. Please see letter for details. Remember that you must re-enroll each year. The current program runs from July 1, 2011 to April 30, 2012.

 


Wetland Conservation License Plate Ducks Unlimited, a Houston Audubon partner, has created a new wetland conservation license plate for Texas. From the $30 specialty plate fee, $22 goes to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to support Texas Ducks Unlimited efforts to conserve and restore wetlands and associated habitats for wildlife. Help keep Texas wild with the Horned Lizard TPWD wildlife conservation plate! From the $30 specialty plate fee, $22 goes to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to benefit the conservation of wildlife diversity and to protect native nongame species. Plates can be purchased online or at any county tax office in Texas, and should be ready about two weeks after the order is placed. Ordering Information
